About Heart 4 The People

Heart 4 the People, Inc. (H4TP) is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization officially established in the summer of 2020. However, the heart and impact of H4TP began years earlier with the dedication of a few committed volunteers who shared love and support with residents in DeKalb and Henry Counties. From empowering local youth through conversation and mentorship to spending quality time with seniors in living centers, these early efforts laid the foundation for what would become Heart 4 the People.

Today, H4TP has grown into a dynamic organization committed to making a broader and more lasting impact. With a core focus on today’s youth, our mission is to inspire, inform, and empower young people to be the change communities need to thrive. Our programs include:

What sets H4TP apart from other nonprofit organizations is its proactive approach to youth empowerment. We believe the success of our young people directly shapes the future of our communities. By teaching fiscal responsibility early, we help youth grow into financially savvy adults who contribute to economic strength in inner-city neighborhoods. Through community outreach and instilling values of empathy and compassion, we cultivate a generation that understands the importance of helping others and giving back.
